Alden – Larry K. ‘Hap’ Booker, 28, died Nov. 2, 2001, in rural Sterling.

He was born Feb. 2, 1953, at Hutchinson, the son of Lloyd and Lula Cox Booker. He was a 1971 graduate from Sterling High School. A lifetime Rice County resident, he was a retired mechanic for Grand Radiator, Lyons.

On April 11, 1980, he married Carol King at Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include tow sons; a daughter; his mother; two brothers; a sister and three grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sillin Funeral Home, Sterling, with the Rev. William Stapleton presiding. Burial will be in the Sterling Community Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, in care of the funeral home.
