Thomas J. Crawford, Jr., 54, of 711 West 22nd, died Saturday of a heart attack while attending the Kansas State Football game.
Born Nov.19, 1915 at Neodesha, he married Avis Johnson Jan.20, 1942 in Salinas, Calif. machinist for Cessna and moved here in 1949.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Kansas State Wildcat Club, a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include the widow; brothers, James, Topeka; Bill, Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Elliott chapel; Rev. Charles Platz. Burial will be in the Sterling Cemetery. Friends may call for 4 to 10 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m to 12 noon Tuesday at the funeral home.Family links:

Sterling- G. Eilleen Crawford, 73, died April 23, 2001, at Lyons Good Samaritan Center, Lyons. She was born Feb. 20, 1928, at Boise City, Okla., the daughter of Glenn and Astern Fencetamaker Bellomy. A longtime resident of Sterling, she was a cook and custodian for Sterling Grade School.
On Dec. 31, 1925, she married Bill D. Crawford. He died July 14, 1977. Survivors include three daughters: Donna Harvey, Wichita, Marla J. Clay, Columbus, Neb., and Elva Schroeder, Buhler; nine brothers, Dennis, Donald, Earl Guy, Fred, John, Dale Jean, Glen Elva, Roger Lyn and Albert Bellomy; three sisters, Naomi Lee Richardson, Helda Williams and Reva Fern Ridley, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
