Nancy Sue Yagel
Nancy Sue Yagel, 63, died May 13, 2001, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Jan. 3, 1938, at Parsons, the daughter of Arthur and Alberta Goltra Yagel. She was a 1956 graduate of Labette Community High School. A longtime Lyons resident, moving to Hutchinson in 1994, she was a retired practical nurse for 33 years at Lyons Hospital, retiring in 1994.
She belonged to Sherman Ist Baptist Church, Sherman.
Survivors include: two brothers, Michael J. Yagel, I Raymond, and Timothy L. Yagel, Nickerson; a sister, Carol Helf, Hutchinson; a nephew; a niece; and a great-nephew.
She was preceded in death 1 by her parents.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday. in Sterling Community Cemetery Chapel, Sterling, with Dr. Charles J. McCallum presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at Cemetery Chapel, Sterling.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or to Feed the Children, both in care of the mortuary, Hutchinson.
