Sterling, Kansas —– Henry David Williams, 71, Sterling died Wednesday at the Sterling Community Hospital after an illness of two years. Born Feb. 28, 1892, Americus, Kan., he moved to Sterling in 1926 from Shallow Water. He was an employee of the Farmer’s Co-op here for 15 years before retiring in 1958. He married Elsie Clara Goudy, Aug. 14, 1917. She died in 1940. He married Olive May Beals, Jan. 1949.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday, Sterling Methodist Church; Rev. Paul Mundell. Burial: Sterling Cemetery. Call: Porter Funeral Home.
