James Davis Sweeney was born on November 23, 1850, his father, ANDREW, was 50 and his mother, ROSEANNA, was 43. He married Keren Happuch Brown on December 21, 1871. They had four children in 13 years. He died on December 30, 1930, in Amarillo, Texas, at the age of 80, and was buried in Amarillo, Texas.
