David Harold Snowden was born about 1841, in Brooke, Virginia, the child of William and Mary Elizabeth Polly. He married Mary Elizabeth Falconer in 1876. They had two children during their marriage. He died on March 24, 1905, in Sterling, Kansas, at the age of 64.
