Margaret Belle ‘Maggie’ Bressler was born in January 1862 in Indiana. She married Jacob Slyter on August 26, 1887 when she was 25.  They had three children during their marriage. She died in June 1942 in Kansas at the age of 80, and was buried in Sterling, Kansas.

She used sometimes her lengthy name derived from her mother (Rebecca B Webb Presler Bressler McFall).

Her parents  :  her father, Andrew Presler Bressler, was 35, and her mother, Rebecca B Webb Presler Bressler McFall, who was 18 years old were married on September 20, 1855.
