Cinthia died sometime before 1890,(No record found of her death), and it appears they had no children. Jahile married on 6 Aug 1890 to Mrs Sarah Jane Simpson, young widow of James Vincent Simpson and daughter of David Musser and Rebecca Frazier at her father’s home in Lewis County, Missouri. They had three daughters and five sons. Sarah Jane died in Sterling, Kansas in 1913,
