Hannah Bristow was born in 1838 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, her father, John, was 37, and her mother, Sarah, was 34.
Hannah married John Bechtel Schlichter on September 12, 1860 when she was 22 years old. They had seven children in 18 years. Including living Lillie, Savina( i.e. Vina Truesdell ), Sarah, George and Robert G. , Ella – deceased.
Hannah arrived in Kansas about 1871 but much of her birth family remained in Canada.
She died in 1906 in Sterling, Kansas, at the age of 68, and was buried there.
