Lawrence Ernest Prebble, 76, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away late Friday evening June 7, 2019, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, Kansas.  The son of the Late Virginia Prebble, Father unknown.   Larry was born January 22, 1943 in Neodesha, Kansas.  he was united in marriage to Sarah Jane ( Alexander ) Prebble June 22, 2007 but life long partners of 29 years.  The couple lived in Hutchinson, Kansas at the time of marriage.  Larry enjoyed his family, friends, fishing, and playing cards.  Larry was a hard working man, he was a construction worker for a lot of years for APAC of Shears.  Larry was a truck driver for years and loved his jobs.  He loved his wife and children, also his friends very much.  He was loved by many!

He is survived by:  7 sons; Larry Jr., Andy and wife Dori Alan Prebble, All of Sterling, Kansas, Robert Putman of Nebraska, Curtis Prebble of Wichita, Kansas, Robert Prebble of Hutchinson, Kansas.  He had several grandchildren, great grand children and nieces and nephews.  Larry has 2 brothers; Gary and Vickie Crisp and Ralph Crisp, and a sister Theonia all from Pittsburg, Kansas.  Larry was preceded in death by mother Virginia and grandmother, and a son Thomas ( Tom) Prebble.

Larry will be laid to rest Thursday, June 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Sterling Cemetery, Sterling, Kansas.  A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date.  Anyone wanting to come to grave side services is welcome.  Pastor Monty McFerrin will be officiating the burial.  Jack and Elaine will be singing.
