Frederick E. Porter
Frederick E. Porter, a resident of Sterling since 1985, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, as the result of an automobile accident near Windom.
He was born Oct. 28, 1941, at Enterprise, the son of Ray and Leona Mills Porter, and was married July 5, 1979, to Lou Ellen Martin at Miami, OK.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Tony E. and Danny Williams, Galva, and Junior Williams, Chapman; two brothers, Ray Porter, Jr., Kingman, and Larry Daggs, Gentry, Ark.; four sisters, Ruth Ryan, Hendersonville, NC; Doris Cott, Hemet, CA; and Mary Clark, Woodland, CA; and Leveda King, Nappanee, IN; and 10 grandchildren.
Burial was in Sterling Community Cemetery with Sillin Funeral Home, Sterling, in charge of arrangements.
