    Helen F. Osenbaugh, 96, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa formerly of Hutchinson,Wellington, and Sterling, Kansas died Monday December 9, 2013. Eastern Star services and internment will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at the Sterling Community Cemetery Chapel by Silver Leaf O.E.S. Chapter 464 and Queen Esther O.E.S. Chapter 32, Friends may call from 10:00 AM until Noon on Friday at the Buhler Mortuary in Buhler, Kansas and at the cemetery chapel after 1:30 PM on Friday.

    Survivors include a son Ralph (Karen) of Cedar Rapids, five grandchildren Amy (Corey) Brinkmeyer of Cedar Rapids, Mark Osenbaugh of Marion; Jeff and Matt Osenbaugh, and Laurie (Kyle) Campbell all of Hutchinson, Kansas; three great grandchildren Graham and Mitchell Brinkmeyer, and Alyssa Campbell; an estranged son Glenn plus many nieces , nephews , a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Troy, 5brothers,and 4 sisters.

    Helen was born on September 3, 1917 in Sterling, Kansas the daughter of John Ralph and Nellie Hallock Bunn. She graduated from Serling High School in 1935. She married Troy S. Osenbaugh on January 2, 1943 in Sterling, Kansas. Troy passed away in 1977. Helen was an avid quilter, enjoyed sewing and especially the time spent with her beloved family and many friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Helen Osenbaugh Memorial Fund in care of Buhler Mortuary, Buhler, Kansas.
