William Manning

William “Jack” Manning, 61, of Hutchinson, Kan., died Monday, July 25, 2005, at Hospice House.

Born July 23, 1944, in Gulfport, Miss., he was the son of William Arthur “Bill” and Adonis Eylene “Donnis” Kreissler Manning, and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was supervisor of planning and estimating for Vermillion Inc.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline M. “Jackie” McElroy Manning; a son, Darin Manning of Hutchinson; a daughter, Christel MacDonald of Hutchinson; a sister, Connie Brown and husband, Joe, of Russellville; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Susan McElroy of Woodbridge, Va.; four grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces including Bruce and Debbie Brown and David and Becky Brown, all of Russellville.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel at Hutchinson, Kan. The body will be cremated.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Reno County.
