He was born Nov. 13, 1942, in Sterling, the son of Harold and Gladys King Frasure. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1960 and attended vocation school to learn transmission repair in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was employed as a machinist at Cessna Hydraulics/Eaton Corp., for 33 years. He retired in 2000.
Married Lucy Gerber 25 Aug 1978 in Hutchinson, KS
Survivors include: two sons, Marvin Jr., Hutchinson, and Brian and wife, Kathy, Oklahoma City; a granddaughter, Ashley Tianna Frasure; and a brother, Frank and wife, Carol, Chapman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson, with Pastor Betty Pinkston presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sterling Community Cemetery.
