 Age 93 STERLING – Luella M. Forwalder, 93, died Jan. 2, 2014, at Sterling Presbyterian Manor, Sterling. She was born March 8, 1920, in Raymond, Kan., the daughter of James and Nellie Grosshart Boes.A lifetime Sterling resident, Luella was a 1939 Sterling High School graduate, a homemaker and a sales person for the former J.C. Penney Store in Sterling. She was affiliated with the Methodist Church and Grace Rebekah Lodge of Sterling. On May 20, 1944, she married John Harold Forwalder in Sterling, Kan. He died Feb. 13, 1989.
