Marjorie V. Ford,  formerly of Wheaton

Services and interment for Marjorie V. Ford, 90, of Sterling, Kan. since March 1998, have taken place in Sterling. Born Sept. 24, 1917, in Pomeroy, Iowa, the daughter of Ben and Judith Johnson Torell, she passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at Sterling Presbyterian Manor. Marjorie was a homemaker and a pastor’s wife. She married The Rev. James H. Ford on Jan. 3, 1941, in Omaha, Neb. He passed away on June 17, 1998. Surviving are her three sons, J. Daniel Ford of Tucson, Ariz., David R. (Judy) Ford of Mesa, Ariz., and Dr. Paul R. (Julie) Ford of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Judith A. (Dr. Thomas E.) Marshall of Wheaton and Carol H. (Paul) Bingle of Sterling; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren; and sister, Marion Sustad of Westminster, Colo.
