Mary F. Connery, 70, died Oct. 13, 2011 at Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson. She was born Nov. 16, 1940 in Ellsworth to Rolf Jack and Lottie Urbanovich Harms. She was a longtime resident of Serling. She graduated from Geneseo High School in 1958. She was a bookkeeper-secretary for USD 376, Sterling; First National Bank, Sterling and Lyons Daily News. She married Jerry Connery on August 17, 1983 in Lyons. She is survived by her husband Jerry of the home; two sons, one daughter, one brother, R. J. Harms of Abilene; two sisters, Betty Gomez of Chase and Doris Sheridan of Edna; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild expected in April. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Aaron Connery. Funeral service will be Tuesday, Oct. 18,2011 at 2 p.m. at Birzer Funeral Home in Sterling. Rev. Grant Davis will officiate. Burial will be at Sterling Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 17, 2-7 p.m. with family present from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Susan G.
