Bruer Dies John W. Bruer, brother-in-law of Mrs. George Bruer of Sterling, died at his home in Eureka, Thursday. Mr. Bruer was well known in Sterling and formally had charge of the hotel here. Short funeral services were held at Eureka, at 4:00 o’clock Friday afternoon, and the body was brought to Lyons, where services were held at the Crawford-Miller mortuary at 2:00 o’clock, Saturday afternoon.
