William Thomas Brown was born in July 1873 in Florence, Iowa, his father, Thomas, was 28 and his mother, Emma, was 20. He married Callie Smith and they had one daughter together. Callie died September 30, 1913 at age 38. He then had one daughter with Josie Revah Worrell. He died on September 20, 1941, at the age of 68.
