Jack was buried in the lot with his grandfather, Thomas Hayes Brown.

William Ernest Brown was born on October 21, 1876, in Washington, Kentucky, his father, Felix, was 33 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 26. He married Laura Bertrude Brown in 1908 in Sterling, Kansas. They had five children in 16 years. He died on July 9, 1950, in Hutchinson, Kansas, at the age of 73, and was buried in Sterling, Kansas.
