Present Large Bible to Sterling Chapel

Mr. and Mrs. D. P. McKee, of near Nickerson, were in Sterling last week and presented a large Bible to the little chapel in Sterling cemetery.  It is a gift from the Bishop children, in memory of their parents, Freeman and Catherine Bishop who are buried here. Other members of the Bishop family are also buried in Sterling cemetery.

As one of the member of Chapter W, P. E. O., who sponsored the establishing of the Little Chapel in Sterling Cemetery, we extend sincere thanks to the Bishop family and we know we voice the sentiments of the entire chapter and of all who so generously contributed to the fund for furnishings.

*************Later members of the Bishop family requested the Bible be returned to the family and they retrieved it from the chapel.  BC
