Obituary Sterling Bulletin for Edward A. Bell, 07/19/1901
Died, Monday evening at the residence of W. B. Davis, Edward A. Bell, after a short illness. Funeral at the house Tuesday evening conducted by Dr. C. H. Strong. Mr. Bell was a native of Ireland and served as a soldier in the war of the rebellion. He was a faithful member of the U.P. church. His wife died about forty years ago. At one time he was well to do. For a number of years he had lived a roving life. He had well to do children. No relatives here. He drew a pension and had plenty of means to live on comfortably.
