Emmogene (Cady) Beatte was born on November 10, 1855, in Freeport, Illinois, the child of Lyman R and Celia. She married Benjamin Harrison on September 26, 1870. They had eight children in 30 years. She died on April 1, 1925, in Woodward County, Oklahoma, at the age of 69.
