Grace died in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. She was buried in Resthaven Cemetery and Mortuary. My mother continually had dreams that her mother wanted to be buried in Sterling next to her parents. Finally in 1980, my mother made the arrangements to have her moved. She was moved on the 3rd of October, 1980, from Resthaven to Sterling Cemetery. I asked my mother several months later if she had anymore dreams about her mother not being happy about where she was buried. She replied, “Not a one”.Grace was married first to William Adolph Schauner, who was born in Wichita, Kansas. They divorced in the 1950’s and much later, she married Richard E. Brame. He was much younger than her and I always felt he married her for money. My grandmother was a self-made woman.Family links:

Sterling Bulletin Obituary for Vesta Verna Braden
The Rev. James Graves will conduct a funeral for Vesta Verna Braden at 2 p.m. Monday in the United Methodist Church in Sterling. Burial will be in the Sterling Community Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 until 5 p.m. Sunday at Sillin Funeral Home, Sterling.
Mrs. Braden died yesterday, March 31, 1999, at her home in Sterling where she had been a lifetime resident. She was 88.
Born January 3, 1911, in Sterling to James Leroy and Ethel Bradley Barr, she married Calvin Clarke Braden on October 14, 1931, in Alden. He died February 4, 1984.
Memberships included the United Methodist Church, Mid-K Campers and Silver Threads, all of Sterling.
Survivors are a son, WIlliam Leroy Braden of Sterling, two daughters Joanne Stangle of Newton and Jeanne Stocklein of Bradenton, Fla.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Marilyn Jeanette in 1934 and Barbara Ellen in 1956.
A memorial fund has been started for the church, in care of the funeral home.

Grace Bell, daughter of Elder Bell of the 2nd Philadelphia Reformed Presbyterian congregation, married Rev. Samuel Boyle in September, 1934. She was his companion in his missionary labors. Two children were born to this union; Robert Scott, in Hong Kong on January 9, 1937, and baby, JoAnne, who died at birth, in Sterling at the same time Mrs. Boyle passed away in July, 1943. Mr. Boyle served as pastor of the Sterling, Kansas Reformed Presbyterian congregation from 1942-1945, when he resigned to take up work with the Christian Amendment Movement.
In 1945 Samuel Boyle married Grace Eleanor Robb, another missionary to China, and together they had three girls and one boy and son Scott from Sam’s first marriage. Grace Eleanor died on September 1, 1987 and was buried in Overland Park, Kansas.
Samuel Boyle and Orlena Marie Lynn married in 1992. They had known each other as missionaries in China. Sam and Orlena lived their last years together at the Reformed Presbyterian Home in Pittsburgh, PA where Sam died in 2002. Orlena died in 2018 and is buried in her home town of Sparta, Illinois where several of Sam’s family is also buried.
Samuel Eugene Boyle is buried with his second wife, Grace Eleanor in Overland Park, Johnson County, Kansas.
