Mr. Ambrose Watson died in Oklahoma Territory on the 20th ult., aged sixty eight years. His remains were brought to Sterling, Kansas, and deposited in the cemetery there beside his wife who preceded him some years ago. Mr. Watson was a native of this county, and resided in Heth township, this county, preparatory to removing west. He was quite well known in this county. –The Corydon Democrat (Corydon, Indiana);(The county referred to is Harrison County, Indiana where the surname MAUK is also very well known and continues there to this day.)Family links:
