Husband Andrew died 1871 in Bracken County, Kentucky. Sarah and her daughter Mary Elizabeth  (Workman) Jacobs moved to Macon, Ill for 5 years and them came to Peace (Sterling, KS). Both mother and daughter are buried here.

From the Friends’ Church in this city at 10 a.m. today occurred the funeral of Rev. Andrew Wooten, formerly of Glen Eden, this state. His son, Abijah, and wife of Cherokee, T. T., and his brother, William Wooten, pastor of the Friends Church in Lawrence, Kansas, were present.

The services were conducted by Rev. J. W. Wilmore of this city. The deceased was nearly 75 years of age and has been a very able preacher.
