Vernice Louise Cuthbertson, 85, of Cheyenne died Feb. 22 at home. She was born Oct. 4, 1928, in Board Camp, Ark., and had lived in Cheyenne since 1987.

Mrs. Cuthbertson was a lifelong Presbyterian. She was very musical and artistic and enjoyed traveling, the mountains, tennis and spending time at the family cabin in Glen Haven, Colo. She was a homemaker and secretary for TACA Airlines and Exxon. Most of all, she loved her family.

Louise is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Cuthbertson, whom she married on June 9, 1950, in Guthrie, Okla.; two daughters, Judith Cuthbertson (James Packard) of Fort Collins, Colo., and Carol Cuthbertson-Mayo (Jack Mayo) of Cheyenne; and two granddaughters, Jami and Jeree Mayo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ada (Durham) Martin; and four brothers, Frank, Earl, George and James Martin.

A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
