She was born Rozetta Dembo Jan 13, 1889, at Carden, Indiana and was married to Luther A. McMurphy Nov 26, 1906 at Lyons. He died March 9, 1995. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Modern Priscilla Club. –Survivors include sons, Alonzo LeRoy, Nelvin R., Marvin H., and Glen W., all of Sterling; stepdaughter, Mrs. Mabel Humphreys, Sterling; daughter, Mrs. Hazel Tyler, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters, Mrs. Woody Coffin, Hutchinson, and Mrs. Rilla Vickers, Ellinwood; 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. — Services will be held today, July 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the Porter and Sillin Funeral Home with the Rev. Portteus Latimer officiating.
