 Mountain Democrat Monday, July 9, 2012Betty Jane Cundith May 18, 1921 – June 15, 2012 Betty Jane Cundith, 91, of Cameron Park, Calif., was born May 18, 1921, in Santa Barbara, Calif., and passed away June 15, 2012, in Marshall Hospital, of Pneumonia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Cundith. She is survived by her three sons, Tom (Kathy), Mike (Toshie) and Pat Cundith; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was the daughter of John and Stella Whittenberger and sister of Alice Haupert (Whittenberger).Betty is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She and Tom were married 57 years. She worked for more than 30 years as an accountant/bookkeeper for the construction business. An avid golfer and golf fan, she scored her first “hole-in-one” at age 83 in front of her sons and grandsons. Her Catholic faith was a lifelong support and comfort.
