Sarah Jane was the daughter of David Musser 1844-1914 and Rebecca Frasier 1844-19??. She was the wife of Jahile Franklin Billups, they were married 6 Aug 1890. For most of his life Jay was a farmer, but did spend time helping his father with his sawmill and Blacksmith business. He married Cinthia Thompson, daughter of Buckner Thompson and Eliza Virginia Staggs on 16 Oct 1883 in Canton, Lewis, Missouri. Cinthia died sometime before 1890,(No record found of her death), and it appears they had no children. Jahile remarried on 6 Aug 1890 to Mrs Sarah Jane Simpson, young widow of James Vincent Simpson and daughter of David Musser and Rebecca Frazier at her father’s home in Lewis County, Missouri. They had three daughters and five sons. Sarah Jane died in Sterling, Kansas in 1913, After her death, Jay moved around quite a bit, living in Missouri, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and San Diego, California until finally he lived in Patton, California. where he died.
