Sterling – Elizabeth Normadale”Norma” Bruer, 80, died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at her home in Hutchinson. She was born April 24, 1925, at Stoy, Ill., the daughter of Vernon and Dale Sholders Hanson. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she was a retired parts supervisor at Boeing Wichita and an ER nurse’s aide at Sterling Hospital.

On March 15, 1952, she married Glenn Bruer at Wichita. Survivors include her husband of the home, two daughters, Beverly Holmes Berry, Ellicott, Md., and Linda Holmes Frisbie, Phoenix, Ariz., a son, James Rodney Hayes, Lathrop, Calif; two brothers, a sister, 10 grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Hutchinson, with Mr. Richard Frisbie officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Sterling Community Cemetery.
