STERLING – Virginia Haulman, 93, died Sept. 18, 2015, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born March 18, 1922, in Peabody. She graduated from Nickerson High School, Nickerson. A longtime Colorado and Sterling resident, she was a homemaker and former Courthouse Clerk in Colorado.
On June 29, 1941, she married Royal T. Haulman in Nickerson. He died Nov. 5, 2009. Survivors: sons, Dennis Haulman and wife Brenda, Hutchinson, Ronald Haulman and wife Karen Haulman, Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters, Wilma Bloom, Medicine Lodge, and Barbara Johnston, Jay, Okla.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling, with the Rev. Kendal Connor presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sterling Community Cemetery, Sterling. Memorials to Hospice House, in care of the funeral home.
