| Drew M. Ekhart, the son of Dale Benton and Jan Kay (Wilton) Ekhart, was born on March 9, 1977 in Imperial, Nebraska. He passed away on May 28, 2013 at Rice County District Hospital, in Lyons, Kansas at the age of 36 years. Drew was a graduate of Superior High School with the class of 1995 and Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Management. He was Vice-President of Alden State Bank for 10 years.He was united in marriage to Melissa Frees on June 12, 2004, and to this union three children were born. Boston, Eckley and Faith.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Clarence and Ruby Wilton. He is survived by his wife, Melissa J. Ekart; 2 Sons, Boston Drew Ekart, Eckley Dylan Ekart; Daughter, Faith Isabelle Ekart, all of the home; Mother, Jan & Bernie Leece, Webber, Ks.; Father, Dale & Anna Ekart, Berthoud, Co.; Brother, Todd & Tami Ekart, Sidney, NE.; 5 Sisters, Jill & Ross Wurdeman, Krynn & Sam Larsen both of Columbus, NE., Sarah Ekart, Tampa, Fl., Amy Ekart, Boston, MA., Emily & Casey Stevens, Berthoud, Co.; Paternal Grandparents, Jackie & Dona June Ekart, Imperial, NE., Numerous Aunts & Uncles; Several Nieces & Nephews.
