Lois Francis Smisor, 75, died May 10, 2006, at Sterling Presbyterian Manor. She was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Iola, the daughter of Harold and Shirley Cross Cleaver. She graduated from North High School, Wichita. A resident of Sterling, formerly of Wichita, she was a retired city clerk for Sterling.

On Nov. 25, 1948, she married Kenneth Smisor in Sterling. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Brad, Wichita; a daughter, Sherlyn Wray, Lyons; two brothers, Will Cleaver, Olathe, and Ron Cleaver; Houston; a sister; Darlene Casey, Wichita; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
