Alden: – Margie A. (Hinerman) Brown Johnson, 84, died July 3, 2004, at Sterling Presbyterian Manor, Sterling. She was born Aug. 4, 1919, at Sterling, the daughter of Harry and Francis Weaver Hinerman. An Alden resident since 1977, formerly of Sterling, she was a homemaker. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, Sterling.
On Dec. 9, 1940, she married John R. Brown at Sterling. He died June 6, 1974. Then, on Aug.3, 1977, she married Wilford Johnson at Sterling. He survives at the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Jams L. Brown, Colleyville, Texas, Gary L. Brown, Aurora, Colo., and J. Stephen Brown, Sterling; two stepsons, Gordon Johnson, Mooreland, Okla., and Darin Johnson, Sterling; a stepdaughter, Deidra Hendricks, Newton; a brother, Everett Hinerman, Hutchinson; two sisters, Vula Warren, Colorado Springs, and Kay Thompson, Kansas City; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Violet Alber.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Alden, with the Revs. Bob Bethell and J. Douglas Neumann presiding. Burial will be in Sterling Community Cemetery.
