Dorothy was the daughter of James Clinton Ricketts Sr. and Pearl Jane Braden-Ricketts.STERLING – Dorothy M. Kelso, 79, died Aug. 16, 2004, at Sterling Presbyterian Manor, Sterling. She was born Nov. 26, 1924, at Cleveland, Okla., the daughter of James C. and Pearl Braden Ricketts. A longtime resident of Sterling, she was a retired bookkeeper for Western Ford, Sterling. She belonged to American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Sterling. On Dec. 15, 1945, she married Olin L. Kelso at Cleveland, Okla. He died Dec. 4, 1985. Survivors include three sons, Ronnie, and wife Patty, Sterling, Gary and wife Barbie, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Phil and wife Lynette, Mooreland, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother; her father; stepmother, Berla Ricketts; three brothers, Lloyd, Floyd and James Ricketts; and an infant granddaughter. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Sterling Community Cemetery with the Rev. Glen Holman presiding. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sillin Funeral Home, Sterling.
