Rev. James Clark Taylor was the son of John Campbell Tayor, long time Reformed Presbyterian Minister of Craftsbury, Vermont as well as Corporal of Captain Henry S. Finley’s Regiment of Ohio National Guard Volunteers. James was a graduate of Geneva College and also a Reformed Presbyterian minister. who at 27 years of age died in Sterling, KS of meningitis.
