Frances Lena “Fannie” Kane was born in June 1855 in Ohio. She married William Columbus Burden on March 12, 1878, in Robertson County, Kentucky. They had four children during their marriage. She died in January 1937 in Kansas, at the age of 81, and was buried in Sterling, Kansas.
When Marion Burden, adopted son, was born about 1867, in Michigan, his father, William, was 16 and his mother, Frances, was 12. He had two brothers and one other sibling.
Anna M Burden had three brothers. On April 15, 1880, Anna M died in Kansas, and was buried in Raymond, Kansas.
Walter Lawrence Burden, Sr. was born on November 10, 1894, in Raymond, Kansas, his father, William, was 43 and his mother, Frances, was 39. He married Pearl Gertrude “Peggy” Tedrick on July 27, 1919, in Boone County, Illinois. They had two children during their marriage. He died in November 1932 in Wichita, Kansas, at the age of 38, and was buried in Sterling, Kansas.
Cecil Warren Burden was born on June 9, 1897, in Raymond, Kansas, his father, William, was 45 and his mother, Frances, was 42. He married Grace Lillian Ficken on December 31, 1920, in Hutchinson, Kansas. They had two children during their marriage. He died on April 12, 1974, in Montrose, California, at the age of 76, and was buried in Glendale, California.
