 The Sterling BulletinFuneral Services for BabeTender funeral services over the body of little Martha Catherine Adams, the two and one-half-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Adams, were held Friday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bruer, and were conducted by Mrs. Bessie Bellman of Winfield. The body lay in a little white casket and was surrounded by flowers that were emblematic of the sweetness and purity of the life that had known such a brief earthly existence. Mrs. Bellman gave a brief discourse that was full of solace and comfort for the sorrowing family and friends, and a quartette composed of Miss Gladys Holmes, Mrs. R. O. S. Shook, Charles Davis and O. T. Sholes sang several hymns with piano accompaniment by Henry Fleming. The little body was laid to rest in Cottonwood cemetery, four young girls acting as pallbearers.
