Richard “Dick” F. Harrison, a lifetime resident of Sterling, died Saturday, April 27, 1991, at the District Hospital in Lyons at the age of 64.
He was both Jan. 30, 1927, at Sterling, the son of Lorenzo and Anna Zerbe Harrison. He was a cowboy and a retired truck driver for Sterling Butane.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Sterling Saddle Club and the American Legion, all at Sterling, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lyons. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He married Juanita Clark at Sterling on July 26, 1953.
Survivors include his wife, of the home, a son, Booy, Osteen, FL; a daughter, Barbara L. Asher, Sterling; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Porter and Sillin Funeral Home, Sterling, with the Rev. Dennis Corbett officiating. Burial will be in the Sterling Community Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Assembly of God Church, Sterling, in care of the funeral home.
