ERROL L. MURPHY

Errol L. Murphy, a lifetime resident of Sterling and Geneseo, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 1991, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita, at the age of 60.

Born Oct. 12, 1930, in Syracuse, the son of Arthur G. and Eva May Boes Murphy, he was an employee of L. J. Webb Construction Co. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the American Legion, both at Geneseo.

He married Lois Ramsey at Claflin on May 31, 1958.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Norman, Sterling, and Glenn, Lyons; a daughter,, Louise Murphy, Olathe, his mother, Eva Murphy, Little River; two brothers, Leon, Sugarland, Texas and Leslie, Topeka; and two grandchildren, LaTricia and Charles Sparks, Houston, Texas.

Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Porter and Sillin Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Callison officiating. Burial will be in the Sterling Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial funds have been started for the United Methodist Church of Geneseo and the American Cancer Society.
