STERLING – Marvin C. Moore, 69, died Dec. 5, 2000, at Lyons District Hospital.

He was born Dec. 9, 1930, at Sterling, the son of Glen Greer and Dorothy Blackhall Moore. A lifetime Sterling resident, he was a farmer and rancher.

He attended Sterling College and was a graduate of Kansas State University.

He belonged to United Methodist Church at Sterling.

He is survived by a sister, Donna Heter, Denver; two nephews and a niece.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, with the Rev. James Graves, presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. today at Sillin Funeral Home, Sterling. Burial will be in Sterling Community Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the church, in care of the funeral home.
