At home of His Sister, Mrs. Jacob Hauschild-Funeral Monday
Andrew Jackson Jenkins, who has been suffering with cancer of the face for the past two years, died at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hauschild, Sunday afternoon, about 3 o’clock.
Mr. Jenkins was born in Jackson County, Ohio, February 28, 1846, and was aged 77 years, 7 months and 16 days, at the time of his death. He has three brothers and three sisters, two of whom-Mrs. Hauschild and Zachariah Jenkins-live near Saxman. The deceased was a veteran of the Civil war. Funeral services were held at the United Presbyterian church in Saxman, at 1:00 o’clock, Monday afternoon, and the body was interred in Cottonwood Cemetery, near this city.
